# Getting Started - Membership

To join our community, download the SMC DAO app from the [Apple App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smc-dao/id6473840575), [Google Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smcdao.app), [Amazon App Store](https://www.amazon.com/SMC-DAO/dp/B0DQQ3KP8F), or [Uptodown App Store](https://smc-dao.en.uptodown.com/android), and complete the registration process.

After registering on the app, you will be directed to take an entry quiz to assess **your** alignment with our community values.

{% hint style="danger" %} <mark style="color:green;">The quiz comprises 10 questions.</mark>\ <mark style="color:green;">**Applicants must score at least 70% (7 out of 10) to pass.**</mark>

<mark style="color:green;">Passing the quiz demonstrates that you fit the ethical and moral framework of our community.</mark>

After registration, our membership process includes several status categories:

This is for those who completed the entry quiz with a score above 70% and provided full, accurate details (including their place of worship).&#x20;

Once your application is approved, you gain full access to the community app.

This is for those who have not finished the entry quiz or are still awaiting moderator approval. Their access remains limited until **their** application is reviewed and approved.

This is for those who either:

* Scored below 70% on the quiz (can retake after 2 weeks), **or**
* Did not provide complete or accurate information (must update their profile to reapply).

### **Scam/Bot Profiles**

This is for those flagged as fraudulent or automated. These accounts are permanently banned, but legitimate users may appeal.

This is for those who violated community guidelines. Their access is temporarily restricted (from 1 week up to 1 year).

This is for those who either requested account deletion or were removed for severe violations. Their removal is permanent.
